Match report Pinner's game at Middlesex Cricketers League leaders Acton ended in a seven wicket defeat. Pinner got off to a good start with Tony Taylor with a fine 64, Mike Christelow (35) and Alastair Bell (24) ensuring 131 runs were on the board by the time the second wicket fell. The remainder of the team could not maintain this form however and Pinner collapsed to 172 all out to a combination of poor shots and the good bowling of Farrell (8/42). The Acton reply went smoothly and the hosts made the runs with plenty of overs to spare.
