Pinner Cricket Club (PCC) are preparing for the start of the 2024 season next month, with hopes of continuing their success from last year.
The 2023 season saw the club’s 1st and 2nd XI win their respective leagues, Division 7A and Division 8 West, while the 3rd XI were promoted to Division 10 South. The club boasts players from across the age spectrum, from their All-Stars Team aged nine and below to the 60-year-old cricketers in the adult league, across a variety of 10 teams.
Speaking to Pinnernews, Chivan Patel, of the PCC social media team, said: “We are always growing as a club, and the community is at the heart of it.
“We’re aiming to grow the game as well as the club, and we even have non-players who just come to have a drink and watch the matches. Playing at Montesole Playing Fields, we’re in a great position, and members of the community often walk past and enjoy the games.
“We’re a community club, and everyone is welcome!”
