Player Profile - Dan Langan
1.        Age? 34
2.	Favourite drink? Asahi- Japanese beer
3.        Favourite tea item? Scones with cream and Jam
4.        Who was your cricketing hero growing up? Loved Phil Tufnell as he bowled quick left arm spin, batted 11 and always had a joke whilst playing ( sounds familiar!!) More recently Freddie Flintoff who on his day is one of the best All Rounders that has ever played
5.        What was your first Pinner memory? Not actually playing for Pinner but against Pinner, getting 14 wickets in 3 games against the lambs, one which had 99 run 10th wicket partnership
6.        Your Favorite Pinner CC Memory? Winning the Mid Bucks Championship in 2019. We were never expected to even challenge for the title and to win it on the last day was amazing (beating Knotty and Denham on the run in topped it off!)
7.        Most memorable match at Pinner CC? Little Marlow away in 2018. Against our usual top of the table rivals we scored 260-5 with Rav and Bob putting on 100 for the 6th wicket (most of which were run) I opened the bowling with Jonny Hymers who took the first wicket, I took the next 8 in a career best 8-21 on a road in a spell where everything clicked!
8.        What’s the most embarrassing moment you’ve had on a cricket pitch? Volunteering to skipper Perivale’s under 13 side, batting 4, topped scored with 7 not out, we got dismissed as a team for 11 with extras 2nd top score with 4.....
9.        Best player you’ve played with? Very tricky one, so many great players, Peter Vittachi, Raahul Aggarwal, Rob Harrison (PCC), Luke Yates (Perivale) Avinash and Rohit Murthy (PPCC) but Chris Peploe-  A left-handed batsman and a slow left-arm bowler who could turn it both ways and cause carnage with the bat. He was the 1st XI Spinner when I was at Ealing and went on to play for Middlesex. Now plays for Berkshire
10.     Favourite player to play with? Best man, 9 times Greg Hammond. Grew up playing cricket with him, now we are both skippers of our respective clubs. Many quick singles scored and catches taken at slip!
11.     Best bowling figures and highest score? 8-21 v Little Marlow & 49 v Ealing Lions
12.     Big influence on your cricket career? My Dad. Drove me to everywhere from games, practise, trials, to teaching me one batting shot every Sunday at away games when he was playing. He skippered PCC, created a colts section from nothing, managed Middlesex squads for 20 years and successfully merged 2 huge clubs together, hero.
