Match report We were all at denham cc early doors and the covers were taken off the square ready for play
Pinner won the toss and invited the home team to bat first ,however a heavy shower for 15 mins saw the covers quickly back in place.after the shower pinner took the field aware in this strange summer that the game would be unlikely to be completed as the outfield was wet from overnight rain unless we rolled denham 2nd xi out rapidly and struck the required runs asap.in the absence of harsha poovaiah injured
Felix hoh stepped up to be counted and both him and asif khan bowled in tandem,tight spells on the button and a selection of poor shot selection with our fielders on top felix 6 for 22 off 8 overs 1 maiden and asif khan 3 for 12 3 maidens off 8 overs bowling excellently Daniel came on and salman moeeniddin took the last wicket to make sure denham were destroyed for 46 in 20 pt 2 overs.number 4 batsmen inderjeet singh gloved one from felix and though our umpire did not see it indy former pinner cc allrounder sportingly walked well done for that indy.we sent alan carter in 9 bowled with nevan o sullivan 23 not out 3 X 4 1 X 6 played some full shots very elegantly before ravi pandya 10 was cleaned bowled by indy then salman hit the winning 4 as pinner raced to an 8 wicket victory in 11pt 2 overs had tea and then made off for home knowing that not only had we won but good chance other games may not be completed if going further distance
