Match report A hot day was on the cards as the Pinner 2's made the journey to Great Kingshill. Winning the toss for a change Pinner decided to bat, and as almost all batsmen scored double figures it was a good toss to win. Notably Robert Fells​ with 50,and some blistering battering from Tino Mahendram​(36*) and Tallen Neelakandan (17*) meant that Pinner could declare after 44 overs, confidently leaving the hosts 46 overs to get the runs.
It took 15 overs to make the breakthrough, with skips catching Philip Page​'s 400th wicket, and that brought together two batsmen that nearly took the game away. Despite a couple of difficult chances going to ground, Pinner were never going to lose and a couple of wickets in an over essentially broke GK's run chase.
With Nicholas Lawrence​ and the league debutant Aryan Thakrar taking a wicket apiece, GK finished 28 runs short.
A fine team effort, and pleasing for Tallen and Aryan doing well, plus the impact of Tino bodes well for the remaining games this year.
