Match report Pinner gained their first Middlesex Cricketers League win of the season on Saturday against UCS Old Boys with a good all round performance which has been lacking in previous games. Put in to bat, UCS never got to grips with Finbarr O'Connor who bowled an unchanged spell of 21 overs, taking 6/29. UCS batted on for 60 overs to make 164 which set up an exciting run chase for Pinner.

Led by skipper Dave Richards (54), Shane Ruddy (30) and Mike Christelow (27 not out), the Pinner batsmen kept their nerve to pass the UCS score for the loss of five wickets with just two balls remaining.
