Match report In a dramatic finish to their local derby Middlesex Cricketers League clash with Kenton, Pinner snatched an unlikely six runs win on Saturday when Kenton, with victory in sight, lost their last three wickets without scoring.

Pinner batted first in this low scoring affair and a mixture of fine bowling, especially from Alex Singleton, who took 5/24, and indifferent batting, saw the home side subside to 74 all out.

The Kenton innings followed much the same course, but they seemed likely winners when they reached 68 with three wickets still intact. But Hedley, Marshall and Scott all lose their wickets without further score as Pinner clawed victory from the grasp of their neighbours. Finnbar O'Connor took the bowling honours for Pinner with 6/35 and was well backed up by Andrew Jackson with his 4/26.
