Match report A superb all-round performance from Tony Taylor was not quite enough to ensure a Pinner victory over Southall in their Middlesex Cricketers League clash on Saturday.

Taylor was in outstanding form. He opened the batting for Pinner and batted throughout the innings to score a magnificent 111. Sadly the other batsmen were unable to match his efforts, although Mike Christelow and John Williams took part in vital partnerships that saw Pinner to 159 all out.

Pinner then took wickets regularly in the Southall reply, with Taylor picking up 3/14, but they were unable to shift the last pair as the visitors hung on for a draw at 106/9.
