Kenton 1 v Pinner Cricket Club Saturday 1st XI on Sat 25 Aug 1990 at 1300
Pinner Cricket Club Lost by 34 runs

Match report Kenton chalked up only their second Middlesex Cricketers League win of the season on Saturday when they beat local rivals Pinner by 34 runs.

Batting first, they made a typically bad start with the loss of Mark Giffin without a run scored, but good batting from Alex Singleton (27), John Salmon (34), Nishan Dixit (32), Mark Elkington (30) and Ian Scott (25) saw them to 201 all out despite the fine bowling of Chris Jenkins, who took 7/48. The Pinner reply was held together by Tony Taylor's fine 73 and although Jenkins (37) and Christelow (23) offered good support, the rest of the batting faded and the visitors were eventually all out for 167, Ian Scott taking 4/47.

Partnership of 77 for 3rd wicket between Taylor and Jenkins
