Match report Pinner finally opened their Middlesex Cricketers League account on Saturday, beating Polytechnic by a comfortable 76 runs. Pinner batted well on a difficult pitch, declaring on 191/4. Mike Christelow led the way with a fine 93. Tony Taylor also had an excellent all-round match, hitting 44 when opening the batting and taking the last three Polytechnic wickets in the first five balls of his first over. Finbarr O'Connot also took three wickets, for 47 runs.
