Pinner Cricket Club Saturday 1st XI v Harrow Town 1 on Sat 24 Jun 1989 at 1300
Pinner Cricket Club Won by 40 runs

Match report A controversial lbw decision on the last ball of the match gave Pinner their second successive league victory on Saturday in their derby match with Harrow Town. Pinner batted fist and declared on 201/3 off just 44 overs thanks to a superb unbeaten 106 from Tony Taylor, with Chris Hawes (49) giving good support. Town chased the runs with Harris making a fine 66 but at 161/8 they put up the shutters and were on course for a draw when last man Bernie Cronin was adjudged out to John Williams on the final ball, bringing a well contested match to a less than satisfactory conclusion.
