Match report Pinner 2's entertained Littlewick Green on a warm afternoon at the Montesole Oval. Wining the toss, Pinner decided to have a bat first and Simon Pilsbury (37) and Robert Fells (28) put on a solid stand of 72 in almost 20 overs. When both fell in a couple of overs the Lambs had to start again, and did it excellently. Bob Harrison (94) and Tameer Haider (69*) set about the bowling in very different, but equally destructive ways. Bob leading the way with his classical style, whilst league debutant Tameer bludgeoning bowling to all parts. For the third time this season a new partnership record was set, as the pair put on 172 for the third wicket. The declaration came after just 38.3 overs, leaving Pinner over 61 overs to bowl at a demoralised Littlewick Green.
Once again the old ball was taken and Varun Gopalakrishnan (3-10) struck in the third over. Skips (2-28) opened from the other end as it became obvious that the oppo were not going to challenge the Pinner score. Often bowling with 4 or 5 slips and a couple of gully's it was only a matter of time before the win came. A fantastic direct hit run out from Tameer where he was the only fielder in front of the wicket on the off side plus two catches meant he had a dream debut. Adam Rissen (2-14) wrapped up the innings and Pinner could enjoy a wonderful win by 189 runs.
