Match report Today at a very sunny montesole we took on royal challengers in a 40 over per side match,we lost the toss and the opposistion decided to bat first.They batted fairly solid throughout with opener Malik 62 in 85 balls 6 X 4 131 minutes holding there innings together. Alan used 7 bowlers akhil dabasia 3 for 21 ,nick Lawrence 8 overs 1 for 25,shaji Thomas 2 for 45.rob harrison 1 for 39 ravi pandya 1 for 38,alan carter 1 for 24 and a run out were the wicket takers for pinner as royal challengers were bowled out for 228 in 38pt 4 overs however 47 extras Inc 38 in wides 4 in no balls actually meant an extra 30 balls being bowled and this was to be the visitors 2nd top score.akhil with a catch and a run out and 3 Wickets was my pick out performance in the fielding today he has taken to adult cricket with aplomb and is not phased with the step up at all,certainly looks to be heading for a good future with our club.kieran carter wicket keeper conceded no byes and took an excellent catch today he is another with aaryan thakrar who bowled 4 overs and was unlucky not to take a wicket who has made a good transistion to the men's game so well done you 3.pinner opener alan carter scored a good 50 in reply in 77 balls ,nick Lawrence 39 in 43 balls ,tino mahendram 23 in 17 balls and akhil dabasia 13 not out all contributed to pinners final total of 182 all out in 37pt 3 overs as the visitors ran out 46 run victors at pinner today.The game was played in a great spirit and I thoroughly enjoyed scoring it so well done to all the players
