Match report Our old friends ruislip victoria cc journeyed to montesole today,we have played them for many years in both the middlesex championship and sunday games,they now in the berkshire league with us in the Chiltern league .ravi pandya won the toss and elected to bowl first in this 40 over per team game .captain d''costa scored 78 in 85 balls 111 minutes 13 X 4 with neil booth 32, and James booth 22 contributing and 44 extras saw rvcc to 226 all out in 38pt 3 overs.at 168 for 4 off 25 overs 270 looked on the cards.however mateen choudhry 3 for 33 off 8 overs after a 0 for 27 first 4 over spell made sure that huger total didn't materialise.varun nair 1 for 27,maison noel 1 for 24 and colts anay lakhia 2 for 25 ,tallen neelakandan 2 for 31 and Shane o ' sullivan 1 for 13 took the wickets.whatever total is scored has to be chased down but one felt that 227 for victory was achievable today rather than 270 if we batted sensibly so well done team.murali neelakandan 32 and kieran carter 10 opened and the score was 21 when kieran departed ,enter ravi at 3 and when murali departed 100 was on the scoreboard off 22 overs.ravi hit 18 X 4 in 79 balls before departing for 85.john hoh got 20,mateen choudhry 19 but it was to be at 5 darshin lakhia 30 not out in 60 minutes who very importantly bedded in that saw pinner through to a 2 wicket victory despite pinner 171 for 3 31 overs to 207 for 8 in next 7 overs nearly coming a cropper.rvcc never gave up with ritesh Patel
