Match report Alan Carter's Sunday angels travelled to nearby kings college playing fields to take on ruislip yesterday.A 40 over match per team was agreed and ruislip on winning the toss elected to bat.Ruislip innings was a good first wicket 34 runs partnership an 85 runs 5 th wicket partnership and vitally a 39 run last wicket partnership which ultimately was responsible for there 19 runs victory. Alan gave 9 bowlers a go with the following wicket takers Nick lawrence 2,sikhander Singh 2, a run out and 1 wicket for nishant shah, ravi pandya ,Vijay desai,des hubert,and mateen choudhry as ruislip from 171 for 9 closed on 210.Atal kakar 30 ,mukhtar kakar 32,Jamial abbassi 56 and last wicket pair majid 22 and dix 13 not out saw the home team to 210 all out.Tea was taken and then the angels were off on the run chase though alan departed early we recovered and went about the task .ravi pandya 26,shakib miskeenmal 32 led the way and though both departed pinner were 105 for 4 at the halfway stage .Sikhander Singh 42 kept it nicely ticking over but pinner kept losing wickets and despite des hubert 19 not out were to fall 19 runs short at 191 all out and a clipping of the angels wings.a kakar 1 , Hamza majid 1 haseeb majid 1 A run out and j abbassi 2 and star of the home teams bowling attack mukhtar kakar 4 took the ruislip bowling honours
